About Us

Mission
We are a group of gamers who’d like to encourage female gamers in the DotA2 international community. Many female teams speak their native languages and find it hard to communicate with female teams from other parts of the world. News regarding these teams are also largely confined to their geographical and cultural regions.

Our basic aim is to create a database of female gamers and news for the English speaking community, to raise awareness and support, and to provide a platform for female teams to meet and play with and against each other.

The group hopes to create a supportive community where female gamers can grow, both in skill and character, and eventually participate in international competitions unsegregated by gender.

FemaleDOTA2.com was set up in 2013 by Vixxy, furryfish* and Michael, and continues to exist today thanks to some dedicated volunteers.

  1. I am sad that our team of ladies can’t join for tournament in 2017, but we hope, that you will continue in this, so we can join in the future! Hopefully it will be soon!!

In our country its just us so that means no ladies tournament ever. We would love to be part of something bigger than our country aswell.. <3

  2. Hi! Is there a female team in the Philippines? I’m playing support. I can also handle carry heroes and tank. Not a mid-laner. I also have a group of friends who play very well. There are 5 of us but we’re kinda isolated coz we don’t know any community we can join in. Kindly contact me on my twitter > @janinedota. Thank you 🙂

  3. Needing for a team. Players who can do midlane, hard carry and jungle. Pm me if interested 🙂 fb.com/xjavyer.18

  4. Hi,
I was wondering if by any chance you could help me. I’m a college student doing a research paper on Women in Professional DotA 2. After doing initial research I’ve seen that women are allowed to participate in larger tournaments, but they don’t. I was wondering if you could give me any incite as to why?
